Richard (Dick) Wills is the Executive Director of GFA (Gerald Franklin Licensing) Texas premiere liquor licensing service. GFA has been providing the liquor industry with quality licensing service since 1944. Dick is retired from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission as a Regional Supervisor of Licensing and Compliance. Prior to his TABC service Dick was a co-owner of a multi store retail operation where he worked for 22 years.
Dick obtained the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America before being Honorably Discharged from the Marines where he served at Marine Barracks Norfolk. Dick has his BS in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and attended Universities in Israel, England, and Mexico. Dick is a current Ex-Officio Director of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and a former Ex-Officio Director of the Greater Houston Restaurant Association. Dick also served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Sea Scout Base Galveston.
Thuong Mai Thi Ngo
Mrs. Ngo is primarily responsible for processing new on and off premises Beer, Wine and Package Store permits. She also assists with new Wholesaler’s and Manufacturer’s licenses and permits as well as Mixed Beverage permit applications, Mrs. Ngo is fluent in Vietnamese and has been with us since 2003.
Ms. Pleasant is the Assistant Director of Operations. She is primarily responsible for On and Off Premises Beer, Wine and Package Store applications. She assists with Mixed Beverage, Wholesaler’s and Major Chain Accounts. She also shares in the monthly renewal billings. Tonya joined the firm March 2016.
Deborah K. Johnson
After 35 years of service to the State of Texas, Mrs. Johnson retired from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and joined GFA in March 2006. Mrs. Johnson has a total of 48 years of experience in this industry. She does All classes of original applications, renewals, and bonds.
Ms. Williams is primarily responsible for Mixed Beverage renewals, bonds and assists with various new applications. Ms. Williams has 18 years of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
Chanya Krisko (Noo)
Ms. Krisko joined us in 2006 and is an administrative assistant. She works with accounts payable and also assists with general clerical duties. She is also fluent in Thai.
Angela Gurka joined our team in August 2016, bringing 19 years of application experience with her. She is primarily responsible for greeting customers, answering the phones, scanning files into the new database system and assisting the license processors with various applications
Bertha joined the GFA team in May 2020 and is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She has 20 years of excellent customer service experience.

Ms. O’Malley joined the company in 2015 as the controller for the company. Jane is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Roberts has worked in Radio and TV for over 43 years in several markets but has spent the last 36 in Houston. He does a daily blog on Channel 2’s website. “The Daily Craig” involving sports and humor and is seen in both print and video form on www.click2houston.com. Mr. Roberts was the station sports anchor and sports director for 22 years and also anchored a show called “Sports Off Center” on Channel 55 in Houston. He did play by play for both football and basketball including NFL, College, and High School. He also did the Southwest Conference game of the week for NBC TV.
Mr. Roberts has been a ring announcer for local bouts and has done fights on CBS, ESPN, and MCNBC. He was the ring announcer for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials. He has worked radio for several stations including KLOL on the Stevens and Pruett Show and Z107 mornings with Bob and Crash. From 2012 to 2014 he was the sports director for NEWS92 FM.
He has a B.A. in political science from Southern Illinois University and served 3 years in the USMC with combat experience in Vietnam in 1967.
He is married to long time radio and marketing expert Carol Gambill. They live in their log cabin in Spring, Tx.
